KTPC Bhopal
Abhyanga
A traditional synchronized full body massage given by Ayurveda therapists using medicated oils. Abhyanga improves physical consistency, helps to liquefy toxins and induces relaxation, whilst normalizing blood pressure and eliminating impurities.
Pizhichil
A rejuvenating experience, during which lukewarm herbal oils apply the entire body. The applying of the oil is very slow and rhythmic with light pressure. Pizhichil procedure strengthens immunity, lubricates the joints, liquefies toxins, increases flexibility and strengthens immunity effects
Takradahara
A relaxing experience where cool medicated buttermilk is poured onto the forehead to bring relief to those who suffer from stress, depression, insomnia and also other psychological related issues
Sirodhara
Lukewarm herbal oil is poured in a smooth stream on to the forehead to pacify and revitalize the mind and the body. Shirodhara therapy improves memory, normalizes sleep patterns and addresses other neurological disorders. The shirodhara has its own strong rejuvenating and anti-aging
Choornapindaswedana (CPS) & Patrapindaswedana (PPS)
Choornapindaswedana (CPS) & Patrapindaswedana (PPS) are also known as “the pottaly massages”. Following a full body massage with dosha specific oils, choornas, leaves therapeutic sweating is induced by the application of warmed herbal wrappings. It increases circulation, relieves muscle pain, muscle stiffness, speeds up the elimination of toxins, arthritis, rheumatism and sports injuries
Udwarthana
This massage aims to address obesity and mobilizes toxins. Beneficial for firming and toning. A deep, dry massage using herbal powders which stimulate the body hair follicles assisting to break down the body’s excess subcutaneous fat.
Mukha Lepa
Mukha Lepa has been used as a beauty ritual for Indian women by centuries. Traditional herbs are used to cleanse, exfoliate, tone and finally hydrate. A specialized specific herbal lepa or mask according to skin and dhosha is applied to the face to bring out the beauty in.
Tarpana
Treating the eyes by applying ghee is known as “Akshi Tarpana” or “Netra Vasthi” in Ayurveda. Medicated ghee is poured gently into the ring over already made of flour paste around the eyes. After sufficient medicated ghee has been poured, the eyes are intermittently opened and closed for a period not exceeding five minutes. This is good for treating tired eyes as well as other eye disorders.
Kavala
This Procedure is the retention, movement and gargling of medicated oil or decoction in the mouth for few minutes. This simple and soothing treatment is highly beneficial for disorders of ear, nose, throat and mouth and good for improving the voice.
Gandusa
Gandusa procedure involves the retention of medicated oil or decoction in the mouth for a few minutes. Gandusa is good for cleansing, detoxifying and aids in mouth, voice, gum and tooth disorders. Gandusa addresses bad breath and same time improving the flexibility of facial muscles.
